David Steer, Creator 

David is both an innovator and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience creating successful businesses. After obtaining his pilot license from Mount Royal College, David started an airline company based out of his hometown, High Level Alberta. His passion for everything flying-related stayed strong as he worked in different industries.

Ashley Mainville, Project Coordinator

Ashley has an interest in aviation and works closely with the project leader, planning phases of development for the HapJet and various other projects. Ashley organizes documentation to communicate information and requirements to relevant departments and employees to keep progress on track.

Darcy Paterson, Web Designer

Darcy Paterson provides website and graphic design on the HapJet project. As well, Paterson creates illustration for the purpose of visualizing HapJet concepts for stakeholders.

Jason Baden, Coordinator - Technology Solutions

Graduating from Computer Systems Technology at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2000, Jason has been involved in the design and developing software solutions for small businesses and large organizations. Jason’s role on the HapJet team is to provide guidance on any technology solutions and to coordinate their execution.

Perry DiClimente, Senior Configuration Specialist, Integration Engineer

35+ years of experience in multiple disciplines in development, analysis, testing and certification of major air vehicles and technologies. An aircraft owner/operator and holds a B.S.A.E. and M.S.A.E. in Aerospace Engineering. President of Air Vehicle Integration, Inc., a design/integration firm assisting companies and startups bring products to market.

Roch Dallaire

Roch has 30+ years of experience as a pilot and understands the Canadian Aviation industry. He has trained UAV/drone pilots as well as regular pilots. Roch is both a helicopter pilot and an airplane pilot. He has over 5000 flight hours with multi-engine IFR fixed-wing flight.

Kelly Burris, IP Lawyer, Aeronautical Engineer, Pilot

A licensed pilot since 1985 and an aeronautical engineer in her prior career, Kelly has a natural affinity for aerospace technology, but she also works in many other sectors including automotive, semiconductors, medical, green technologies, manufacturing technologies, welding and gas cutting, metallurgy, ceramic and composite materials, and consumer products.
